Hi Mitra Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy applies to Hi Mitra, listed on Google Play as himitra, Android package app.himitra.android, and its related services. The operator is Innovfix Private Limited, India. Privacy contact: himitra00@gmail.com.

1. About this policy

Hi Mitra provides profiles, one-to-one audio and video calls, chat, virtual coins and gifts, and creator registration and earnings features. This policy explains what information these services process, why it is used, who receives it, and how to contact us about your information. Providing this policy does not itself grant consent for unrelated marketing or additional device permissions.

2. Information processed

Information processed depends on the features you use. Your profile and availability information can be visible to other users. Call and chat participants receive the content you send to them, and may retain their own copies independently of Hi Mitra.

3. Why information is used

4. Recipients and service providers

Information is processed by our hosting and technical providers and by the services needed for the features described above. The Android app uses Google Firebase for analytics, crash diagnostics, messaging and related infrastructure; OneSignal for notifications; Agora for real-time calls; and Meta app events for analytics and acquisition measurement. Depending on the SDK and feature, these services receive technical identifiers, events, notification details or the communication data required to provide the service.

Meta and other third-party services may process information under their own privacy terms in addition to providing services to us. You can read the provider policies at Google, OneSignal, Agora and Meta.

Payment processors, app stores and identity or bank verification providers receive information required to process the transaction or verification you request. We also disclose relevant information when needed to investigate safety issues, comply with applicable legal requirements, or protect legal rights. Other users receive the profile and communication information needed for your interactions; this does not make private conversations a public feed.

Providers can process information in countries outside India. Their terms and safeguards apply to their processing. This policy does not promise that all information is stored in a particular country.

5. Permissions and controls

Microphone and camera permissions support the corresponding communication or registration features. Notification permissions support call, message and service alerts. The app can also request phone-state and call-related permissions to manage interruptions, foreground calls and call notifications. Media access is used where you choose to attach supported content.

You can manage permissions and notification settings on your device, edit available profile fields, and use in-app reporting and blocking controls. Withholding a permission may prevent the feature that needs it from working. You can also manage advertising identifiers and related preferences in your Android and provider settings.

6. Security

Hi Mitra's app-to-backend API uses HTTPS. Access to administrative functions is controlled through authentication. We use technical safeguards to reduce unauthorised access, but no network or storage system can guarantee absolute security. This policy does not claim end-to-end encryption of every call or message, or an independent security certification.

7. Retention

Account information and service records are retained while needed to operate the account and related features. For account deletions processed from 13 October 2026, the account-closure archive keeps an account reference, wallet totals, deletion time and a generic deletion notice. It does not copy the name, phone number, language, avatar, gender, original signup or verification dates, or the free-text reason from the personal profile. Transaction and withdrawal records remain available for financial reconciliation.

Older account-closure archives have not been retrospectively changed and can still contain those profile details. Support records and historical call records can also remain after the active account is removed. There is currently no fixed automatic expiry configured for these historical archives. We do not represent every retained record as legally mandatory, or promise that all personal information disappears immediately. Contact us to request deletion of retained information or details about a specific record; we will assess that request and explain any information that must be kept and why.

8. Account and data deletion requests

You can request deletion without reinstalling or logging into the app:

  1. Email himitra00@gmail.com with the subject Hi Mitra account and data deletion.
  2. Include the phone number registered with Hi Mitra, including country code, and state whether you want the account closed, specific information deleted, or both.
  3. We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership. Do not send passwords, OTPs, complete bank credentials or identity documents in your initial email.

In the app, use Profile → Settings → Privacy / Account Privacy → Delete Account, select or describe your reason, and complete the support-ticket step. This flow submits a request for staff handling; tapping Delete Account does not itself perform an instant automatic erasure.

After verification, support handles the request and confirms its outcome. Account closure removes the active account and its associated chat records through the account-deletion process. The historical records described in section 7 can remain and need separate review for erasure. We will explain any outstanding transaction, verification or legitimate retention restriction rather than treating an uninstall as account deletion. Information already held independently by another participant or provider may require a separate request to that party.

9. Adults only

Hi Mitra is intended for adults aged 18 and over, not children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information through Hi Mitra, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

10. Questions and updates

For access, correction, deletion, privacy questions or complaints, contact Innovfix Private Limited at himitra00@gmail.com. We may update this page as the service or its data practices change. The date above identifies the current published version.
